PERSPECTIVES
Behind the scenes with our team
  • How a patient-focused philosophy guides MTPA’s work
Over the course of more than 25 years at Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma group companies, Atsushi “Andy” Fujimoto developed a clear understanding of what it takes to make a real difference in the lives of people facing serious diseases.
  • Putting the KAITEKI Principle at the heart of MTPA’s work
At MTPA, employees take the initiative to evaluate how they can follow through on their ideas in ways that would uphold the company’s reputation and protect the years of work aimed at addressing unmet patient needs. To do this, teams at MTPA seek support from Ruth Trzcienski, Senior Compliance Officer for Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma.
  • MTPA’s continuing commitment to patients
After diagnosis with a serious illness, patients and their loved ones are often forced to come to terms with challenging news while simultaneously learning how to navigate a complex and evolving healthcare landscape. Through her role, Tatyana Baranovsky, Trade Channel Strategy in Market Access at MTPA, focuses on providing information to patients and providers to gain access to prescribed MTPA medications.
  • Facing the odds with a fearless spirit and commitment to the MTPA mission
Five of Joe’s family members have died from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Joe has a 50-50 chance of developing the disease. Some people run from adversity, but not Joe DiNoia. Instead he faces the odds each day with strength, courage and a sense of purpose. For Joe, his personal connection to ALS serves as an inspiration for his work as a Neurology Account Specialist for Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America, Inc. (MTPA).
  • MTPA’s Commitment to Address Patient Needs of Today
We take on the responsibility to do what we can as a pharmaceutical company to compliantly raise awareness of the diseases included in our therapeutic areas of focus and educate the public on what life after diagnosis is like for patients and their families. To fulfill this mission, MTPA sponsors patient advocacy group programs and initiatives designed to not only raise funds for research, but also to address challenges that impact families’ lives. Nancy Bayerlein, Director of Patient Engagement and Support, manages the company’s relationships with nonprofit organizations that provide education and care services for patients across the country.
